Over the weekend we celebrated a true legend of the Bath cricketing community. John Downey was a huge figure for both Lansdown and Bath Cricket Clubs, and his legacy now lives on through our annual memorial day. This year we were proud to showcase our Walking Cricket team, highlighting the joy and inclusivity that cricket brings at every stage of life. Unfortunately, the weather meant our Legends T20 match couldn’t get underway — but it certainly didn’t dampen spirits.
