The former England women's captain unveiled a new club honours board in recognition of Phipp's commitment and also presented him with a special scripted letter from MCC president Christopher Martin-Jenkins.
A useful right-arm medium pace bowler, Phipp joined Lansdown in 1961 after moving to Bath with the Ministry of Defence and played for ten years.
However, the 92-year-old's greatest contribution came off the pitch where, over a period of 30 years, he served as assistant secretary, secretary and membership secretary.
