Lansdown Cricket Club recently hosted a heartwarming event to honor the incredible women who have been integral to the club's success. Over 40 women, who have contributed in various capacities such as making teas, volunteering, serving as officers, playing, captaining, and being ambassadors, gathered for a special lunch.

The event was a celebration of the dedication and support these women have shown over the years. Scott Longstaff, Chairman of LCC, expressed his gratitude. His kind words highlighted the invaluable contributions of these women to the club.

The lunch was a delightful affair, with committee members and husbands ensuring that the champagne and wine glasses were always full. This gathering was part of the LCC Bicentenary celebrations, marking another memorable moment in this significant year for the club.
