On a cold and wet night at Combe Park, health and safety concerns (slipping, hypothermia etc.) were carefully considered then swept aside and the match was allowed to proceed.
Lansdown's first three batters (Will 15, Danny 47 not out and Archie 45 not out) put on an impressive 138 for 1 off 16 overs. I have not checked the scorebook but that might also have been this year's Griffins first 100 partnership.
Ben Adams took the first wicket early on as Corsham started well but they soon fell behind the required run rate of more than 8 an over.
Unfortunately, the rain just did not stop and with large puddles forming on the square the match was abandoned with Corsham on 31 for 1 off 5 overs.
Match drawn!
