Batting first Bath started well enough progressing to a total of 228 thanks to a swashbuckling 124 from Taylor Tatterson supported by Harry Roberts with a patient 62. Once these two had been prised from the crease the rest of their batting line-up crumbled with a fine display of fielding from the home side that saw Joe Jenkins taking three wickets for eight runs in two overs.
Lansdown’s reply started slowly and not without a couple of close shaves but as momentum gathered between openers Joe Jenkins and Jordan Smith they put on the pressure rattling off runs with ease against an increasingly wayward display of bowling to reach the runs required in just 25 overs.
