as they racked up 66 runs in the first twelve overs. In fact most of the visitors' top-order made good contributions - Nathan Price (21) and Dean Book (29) also chipped in - as they reached drinks with 106 for 3 on the board. After getting his eye in, Stuart Dunning picked up where Conway had left off - his shot-packed 66 propelling Lansdown to a sizeable total of 224, despite the Methodists' bowlers regularly dismissing his batting partners. All but one of the Methodists' attack claimed a wicket as the hosts got themselves back into the game with a good finish, but the home side lost all-rounder Craig Eyles to injury towards the end of the innings and would miss his batting later in the game. After the interval, Lansdown attacked the Methodists with spin from both ends - Dunning and Mike Jones caused all sorts of problems as they each removed two batsmen during their tidy spells, leaving the home side reeling at 35 for 4. Debutant Ed Robinson then hit back for the batting side, with an awesome demonstration of clean striking (including a perfect Dil-scoop!) as he peppered the boundary, bringing up the Methodists' century on his way to a rapid 59. Louis Mancini (3-49) finally ended Robinson's fun and effectively the run-chase - the Methodists lower-order only lasting another three overs after he had left the party - the hosts all-out for 103 in the 28th over as Lansdown wrapped up a comfortable 121-run victory.
