But still could not complete their game at home to Old Bristolians Westbury, who reached 220-7 off 43 overs before rain intervened.
While most matches were cancelled, or abandoned at a very early stage, Chronicle photographer Paul Gillis managed to find some cricket on Saturday - Lansdown 2nd XI hosting Old Bristolians Westbury 2nd XI in the Bristol & District League.
