A Tie against The Star

After being put into bat on a difficult Farmborough wicket (and outfield!!) the 2nd XI did well to get a score of 156 after the 40 overs. The Star has a promising opening partnership but once this pairing was broken confidence in the fielding team was raised and it looked as though Lansdown would come away with a win. And then in came the 'Lansdown Parry's' - Joel and dad Rob. They picked up the run rate helped by a few extras and off the last ball of the match ran two to tie the match. 3 points to each team which was a fair result.
