We’re delighted to welcome four fantastic new players to our senior men’s squad for the coming season. All four have serious WEPL credentials and we’re sure that they will become firm favourites at Lansdown CC for many years to come.

Firstly, let’s introduce 2023 Gloucestershire professional Luke Charlesworth – a First Class debutant in 2023. Luke joins us from Chippenham CC. This young all-rounder has bags of high-class talent with both bat and ball,

“I’m excited to be joining Lansdown and play with a great group of lads! The squad is looking really strong for 2024 season that will definitely be pushing for silverware.”

Next up are two hugely experienced WEPL Prem 1 brothers – Marc and Dan Lezar. This ambitious pair join us from Thornbury CC. Who can forget our opening match in the 2022 season as Marc scored a devastating 179* against us in just 109 balls after Dan had opened with a solid 42. That 221 runs between them was good enough to beat our 211 all out alone! Let’s hope for some of that devastating hitting for our First XI this season …

Finally, all-rounder Henry Cheale joins us from Hinton Charterhouse. Henry captained Hinton for the last four seasons, leading them into WEPL for the first time in 2021. Henry is hugely ambitious and we’re sure that his natural competitiveness will bring great success in his time at Combe Park.
